Program Schedule

Sessions will take place on Zoom every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:00 AM - 11:30 AM EST from Monday, July 6th to Wednesday, July 22nd.

Fees

Please note that, due to increased administrative, logistical, and overall infrastructure costs, and a lack of sufficient and available sponsorships and donations, we will be implementing a small program fee starting in 2026 so that the program can keep running. The Future M.D.s+ in STEM Summer Program has a program fee ranging from USD $125–175, which is up to 95% more affordable than many comparable STEM and healthcare enrichment programs. Please note that all program fees are only required upon acceptance into the program, and there is no fee to submit an application.

The program fee covers:

• Networking with professional guest speakers across medicine and STEM

• Access to all live workshops, interactive sessions, and exclusive material (including email templates)

• Participation in MedSTEMPowered’s Research Symposium 2026

• A Certificate of Completion with Excellence and approved virtual shadowing hours

• Volunteer opportunities, eligible for PVSA hours

• A letter of recommendation (for college, club, clinical, and research applications)

• Full access to the MedSTEMPowered online learning community

*A small portion of each application fee will go towards our scholarship fund for low-income students. With MedSTEMPowered’s commitment to accessibility, we will also be providing a limited amount of financial aid/scholarships to those who may need it (more information below) to ensure that a diverse range of motivated learners can participate. Read more below.

Payment Information:

• Please complete the online application by the early decision, regular decision, or last call application deadlines. If you are accepted into the program, you will be notified within 2-4 weeks of your application’s submission, and your program fees will reflect the application date by which you applied by (For example, if you applied by April 15th at 11:59 PM EST, and you are accepted into the program, you will be required to pay $125USD for the program).

• If you have been accepted, you will receive further information about a secure payment link to secure your spot in the program. Please note that at this time, we are only able to accept major debit/credit cards.

• Additionally, as MedSTEMPowered is a 501(c)3-fiscally sponsored charitable organization, your program fees are tax-deductible. Should you or a guardian like to request a tax receipt, it can be made available to you.

Scholarships & Financial Aid:

With MedSTEMPowered’s commitment to accessibility, we will also be providing a limited amount of financial aid/scholarships to those who may need it to ensure that a diverse range of motivated learners can participate.

If you are low-income and would need financial assistance (i.e. a full or partial program scholarship, payment plan, etc.), you may submit an additional scholarship form after your program application has been submitted. Scholarship recipients will be required to interview with MedSTEMPowered leadership and, in certain cases, with our sponsors. You will be notified of your scholarship status following the interview period.

Scholarship applications will open in March of 2026. We expect scholarship applications to be highly competitive.
